Ingredient List
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 6.4-ounce package Upton’s Naturals Classic Burger (2 patties)
  • 2 ciabatta buns or Italian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons vegan garlic aioli or mayo
  • 1/4 cup giardiniera
directions
Pour the oil in a frying pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat.

Add the sliced onion and sauté until golden, 4-5 minutes. Set aside.

Add more oil if necessary, then pan fry the burger patties, 2-4 minutes per side.

Toast the buns or rolls in a toaster or a pan over medium-high heat, until warm and crispy around the edges.

Spread 1 tablespoon garlic aioli or mayo on the bottom half of each bun, then place 1 burger patty on each bun.

Top each burger with half of the sauteed onion and 2 tablespoons giardiniera, then place the other half of the bun on top. Serve immediately.
